Ever since I moved to Somerset, in 1994, I've been irritated by people saying things like, 'Where were you at that session last night, it was really good' or 'You missed a great concert - I thought you'd have been there'. I eventually realised that there is a lot of activity in the 'folk scene' in this area, but we're not terribly good at publicising things.
So, to try to improve matters, I started publishing an email events listing, covering 'folk' events in Somerset and Dorset. This has now grown to the extent that it needs a website all of its own.
